The purpose of this study was to explore the emotional benefits of open spaces in order to better address students' needs. The research utilized computational tools and interdisciplinary approaches to measure subjective emotions, enhance the design process, and increase output reliability. Semantic segmentation was introduced to establish a link between physical space composition and human emotions, while time-space geography was utilized to improve computers' recognition of students' thoughts. Based on the analysis results, campus open spaces were redesigned to better cater to students' diverse emotional needs.
